The description of our system according to the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 quality standard

The quality control system of our company guarantees that we have the ability to provide products or service which meets the requirements of the client and the requirements of the current laws and regulations.

It is also our goal to increase client satisfaction by the application of the quality control system, thereby strengthening the confidence of our clients in our internationally certified activities – production of ice cream and ice cream stock, storage and distribution.

In detail our system which meets MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 requirements is a client based management system which determines that:

  • That the requirement of our clients must be known and understood by our colleagues;
  • The company processes must be done according to the laws, regulations and internal requirements;
  • Records must be kept of the completed activity and any deviations, to keep the system working;
  • The process must be directed by correctly trained and experienced managers, with the help of correctly trained staff;
  • Management must provide the resources which are necessary to carry out the high quality processes;
  • The process must be kept under constant supervision, the errors and mistakes must be identified and the appropriate corrections, precautions must be taken;
  • A constant contact must be maintained with all of the clients and their satisfaction has to be surveyed constantly.

The management of the Kisgergely Ltd. determined its quality control policy according to the expectations above, and internationally audited its quality control system in the summer of 2003.

Our quality control system was developed so that it will guarantee efficient and economic operation, to meet the requirements of the quality control policy as well as the appropriate requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 regulations.

Our documented quality control system is built up according to the following:

Level I. The quality control handbook which describes how the ice cream stock producing, ice cream producing and storage facilities of our company meet the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 regulations.

Level II. The quality control instructions determine the details of the operations. They contain levels of responsibility of quality, functions, related instructions and applicable entries. They are made in case we do not describe what to do in the quality control handbook in detail due to professional reasons or for reasons of clarity.

Level III. Technological descriptions, and regulations about, quality regulations and other internal commands related to orders, agreements, services or products. These documents contain the detailed description of completing one or two concrete activities.

Level IV. Certain notes, records and warrants related to the quality of production, storage and distribution of ice cream stock and ice cream as well as the function of the quality control system. The valid copies of the formal notes are kept in the forms document of for ease of use.

The quality control commands that are required by the ISO 9001:2000 regulation, or the ones that we consider necessary for controlling procedures are controlled by the process descriptions and commands in the quality control handbook.

We refer to more detailed descriptions in the quality control handbook where necessary; partially to Quality control commands, and, where applicable, we refer to those level III. regulations that govern the details of completing our processes.

In our company the people responsible for quality control are the director who is also the food safety officer, and the externally commissioned Quality control adviser. The director and the Quality control adviser who is hired through a direct agreement have the authority and knowledge to operate the quality control and food quality systems.

Management is responsible for the creation, operation, observation and constant development of the quality control system, as well as ensuring that our colleagues at all levels understand the requirements of our clients.

The representatives of management report on the operation of the quality control system and make suggestions to improve it at regular meetings.

Our future quality control goals:

In order to strengthening and improve our dedication to quality, and to provide services that meet the needs of the competitive market, we have devised a two directional strategy;

One of the directions is to increase the demand for ice cream stock through well thought our marketing strategies and the use of sales agents. As well as incorporating partner companies who have sales depots that play an important role in resale.

The other direction is based on the HACCP food safety criteria which have forced several small ice cream shops to close. Because of this we have also shifted towards sales of ready packed ice cream. We will try to find the viable ice cream parlors and sell and ship them our ready packed ice cream which meets all of the highest food safety criteria.
